We humbly, with affection, dedicate this website to our teacher and Founder of IKO Kyokushinkaikan, Sosai Masutatsu Oyama. Sosai dedicated his life and soul to the development of Budo karate, which is characterized by the individual’s endless pursuit of physical strength, technical skill, humility, respect, and compassion. This is embodied in the below quote from Sosai:

"Although it is important to study and train for skill in techniques, for the man who wishes to truly accomplish the way of Budo, it is more important to make his whole life in training and therefore not aiming for skill and strength alone, but also for spiritual attainment."

Sosai has left behind a great legacy: a path by which followers of Kyokushin Karate can contribute not only to their own development, but to the development of the organization through upholding its traditions and responsibly using its symbols.

Teaching or training Kyokushin Karate is not a right, but a privilege, and we hope that this site will help represent this idea in a pure and respectful way.
